Spring Tour With Timeflies Includes March 28 Show At NYC’s Irving Plaza

And April 24 Concert At El Rey Theatre In Los Angeles

Bryce Vine – hailed by Entertainment Weekly as one of the “artists who will rule 2018” – has signed to Sire. Today, People.com premiered the official video for Vine’s breakout single “Drew Barrymore.” Watch here.

Directed by Declan Whitebloom (Taylor Swift, Rita Ora, Liam Payne), the provocative clip features Christian Serratos, who is known for her roles as Rosita in “The Walking Dead” and Angela in the three Twilight films. Vine and Serratos are longtime friends – she used to attend his shows when they were  growing up. The video was shot at the landmark Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, CA.

"It’s hard to imagine a more perfect leading lady than Christian Serratos,” says Bryce Vine. “She’s multi-talented, graceful and, not to mention, beautiful. We’ve been friends since our teens and I think that our chemistry on camera was definitely enhanced from years of trusting in each other's talent and ability."

“Drew Barrymore” has more than nine million streams on Spotify and won a place on Taylor Swift’s “Favorite Songs Playlist” on Apple Music and Spotify. Vine wrote the song with Nolan Lambroza (Sir Nolan) – who has also had hits with such artists as Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, among others – and GRAMMY® nominee Julia Michaels.

Vine will be supporting Timeflies on the “Too Much To Dream” tour, which launches March 21 at Masquerade in Atlanta. The run includes shows at Irving Plaza in New York City (March 28) and the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles (April 24). See below for itinerary.

Additionally, Vine is partnering with An Original Penguin® by Munsingwear® to be the face of its Summer 2018 campaign, set to debut in May. Vine will also take part in Original Penguin’s ongoing music series, “Original Tracks”, with a live performance of “Drew Barrymore” to be released alongside the campaign.

With 1 million monthly listeners and over 60 million total streams on Spotify, Vine’s momentum has led to shared marquees with the likes of G-Eazy, Big Sean and Hoodie Allen. Entertainment Weekly praised Vine’s “boundary-pushing aesthetic” and knack for “infusing his hip-hop tunes with an alternative feel in ways that, well, actually rock.” Earmilk said, “Bryce Vine details the perfect girl on ‘Drew Barrymore.’ Using the iconic actress as an extended metaphor for his ideal woman, Vine brings a tender approach to the hook. The sharp voices give away his early years in New York.”

Born in Manhattan and raised in Los Angeles, Vine grew up in two vastly different worlds. His mom, a New York City-based actress, filled their apartment with music from favorite films. Visits to his father were filled with bass-heavy “reality rap” blasting out of the car stereo as they flew down Los Angeles’ freeways. That duality informs Vine’s music, which is a keen blend of laid back, in-the-cut hip-hop and anthemic choruses.

Vine won a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he met Sir Nolan. The two first collaborated on Vine’s debut EP, Lazy Fair, featuring the bouncy “Sour Patch Kids,” which racked up 14 million plays on Spotify.  The next batch of songs included “Los Angeles” and “Bang Bang,” which are playful commentaries on society and growing up as a biracial millennial.

“I want my music to be to the listener what music was to me: I want it to make them happy, to help them out of their dark places. A place where they feel understood and yet carefree,” Vine says.
